I don't think this is mod related but it's possibly by design.
Community managers will set status for this but going forward, please always test bugs on a vanilla save game before reporting.

Scenario 1
- Opened business for day as the small business owner, stocked shelves with baked goods
- Did not close business
- Save and manage worlds, go to a different household
- Visit small business same day, shelves are stocked, and baked items can be purchased
Scenario 2
- Opened business for day as the small business owner, stocked shelves with baked goods
- Closed business
- Save and manage worlds, go to a different household
- Visit small business next day, shelves are not stocked, and there is nothing to be purchased
Scenario 3
- Opened business for day as the small business owner, stocked shelves with baked goods
- Closed business
- Save and manage worlds, go to a different household
- Visit small business same day, shelves are stocked, and baked items can be purchased
