Book Of Life doesn't summon or resurrect

As of May 1st, this issue still exists. I've tried resurrecting a sim with a book of life tied to him. He read it, put it back on the shelf, felt invigorated by an epic tale of a sim, and that was it. I also tried the Resurrect Sim prompt from the book, the sim put the book back on the shelf, his activity said resurrecting, and he did not come back to life. He's still just a ghost hanging out in my household. I mean, we're besties, but I didn't write that book and bind it to him for nothing. :) Cheers! And thanks for looking into this.
