Books disappearing into the void

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• Is it a specific skill book or any ?

I have very very few mods. Only some of LittleMsSam's fixes/QOLs, Better Build/Buy, some of Carl's Guide's mods and some of my own items tweaks + CC.

Happened without mods/cc, it was the rocket science books I'm currently asking my sims to read.

Book 2 was the one I noticed was gone first. Book 1 is the one I was reading that just disappeared out my sims hands.

To be sure, you moved your mods folder to the desktop and deleted the localthumbcache file ?

Every mod/cc needs to be removed before reporting something in the bug forum.

Could you test if the same happens on a new save or if it's related to that Sim/lot/save ?

All mods moved to desktop. thumbcache deleted.

New save

• New sim
• Ailment given
• Read multiple books
• multiple vomits - each time pulled book back out by sink

Then tried existing save that problem originally occured in

• Ailment given
• read rocket science 2 for a long time (took ages to vomit)
• had multiple actions of "reread" queued
• ran to vomit - did not pull book back out of pocket by sink, but instead somehow went back to the bookshelf to take it out.

I will try again on this existing family without the multiple queues of "reread" to see what happens

I forgot to delete the thumbcache first time - must have been a lingering mod issue - I'll double check all up to date
