Burned stove hood can't be replaced in Live Mode after fire

In Live Mode, after a fire, you can click and replace any burnt items that haven't yet turned to ash piles EXCEPT the stove hood.

Stove hoods appear as burnt (blackened) but can't be selected or replaced in Live Mode. You have to manually enter build-mode, delete it and place a new stove hood.

The stove hood before being burnt outThe stove can be replaced in Live Mode, but you can't click the hood.

What should happen: you should be able to click and replace burnt stove hoods from Live Mode.

This has been a bug for as long as I can remember, but I couldn't find it reported on the forums.

I've got a save file ready to share from this fire if needed. Mac, no mods, all packs installed.

I have this bug as well. I always have to go to build mode to remove the hood and place a new one because the burnt hood cannot be interacted with in live mode.
