Buy/Build: Can only manipulate one item

The most recent update has broken this game. Whenever I go into build mode, it will allow me to delete one thing and one thing ONLY, and then stops. 

I cannot alter the design of an object, or build new lots.

I have to admit, this is the first time that game has been basically unplayable for me. For some reason, if I go into build mode, I can only place or delete one item. If I then try to place or delete a second item, my cursor will pick it up and then I'll be stuck with it, unable to either place it or delete it. Build mode is only functioning normally for the first item I select or pick up, and then bugs out on any subsequent item, until I leave build mode and go back to live mode to "reset" it. The same thing happens with the bulldoze tool, which means that when playing with an active household, I have to constantly click back to live mode, then back to build mode, place or delete a second item, back to live mode, then back to build mode, place or delete a third item, and repeat. Which means clicking back and forth between live mode and build mode for every single piece of furniture, square of carpet, or wall segment.

When trying to do it from the map solely in build mode with a community lot, I just get stuck completely and can't even do it one at a time, because once I've placed or deleted an initial item, there's then no way to change anything else since there's no live mode to be able to click away and "reset" it; basically, it's now impossible to build. It also seems to be impossible to bulldoze a lot. Nothing happens when I click to bulldoze. 

Every time I try to use build mode there's issues placing and moving items. If i place a TV I can't move it unless I exit and reenter build mode. I also can't place more than one object at a time without doing this.

I've got the same issue. I think it started when there was an update just before the release for the new expensionpack of Enchanted by Nature.

im on pc

no gameplay/script mods but i use cas cc and a  bit of build cc

all this occurs at once - only able to place one item, after that items will not place, unless i re-enter build mode in which case i can only place one item again, no ability to undo, cant assign units (small business) or can only assign one room at a time before having to leave and re-enter build mode these are all occurring when entering build mode from both live mode and manage worlds
- something i believe is related is not being able to drag items, i can drag them but no matter where i place them they go back to where they were, unless placed in a fridge, trash can, sink, ect.

if theres already a thread about this issue, please could u redirect me as i cannot seem to find one
