[LINUX] Camera rotation freezes game

In CAS, Live Mode, and Build Mode, rotating the camera using right click and drag freezes the game. In CAS, I've found that hitting esc. to get to the menu will unfreeze it, however I haven't found a fix for Live Mode/Build Mode. 

Secondly, selecting areas of a sim to modify in CAS will occasionally freeze as well, but only as long as the mouse click is being held. I pretty much have to click different spots until it finally activates the slider. 

I do play with mods, however removing both script and non-script mods then adding them back individually did not affect the glitch.

It only started doing this after the recent update, so I imagine it is related to that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

(Playing through Steam on Linux, if that's relevant.)

    to be sure, you also tested without any mods/cc at all ?

    Could you try if it works if you switch back to DX9 ?

    It does sound like a bit of a tech issue but since your on Linux, I don't know if there's any troubleshooting steps around.

    Yes, I tested it with no mods/cc. It's been a few days and I see there is a pending update, so I'm going to try it again and see how it does.

    Is there a way to run DX9 through the Steam client used to run windows-based games on Linux? I am relatively new to all of this, so if there's something I can tweak on my end, I'd love to try it!

    There should be an option in the game settings. There is a command to start it in DX11 but I don't know if that would work for DX9 so it's easier to just do it in the game settings.

    If you cant' get to that, edit the option.ini file

    find: forcedx9 = 0 and change it to forcedx9 = 1
