Campfire interactions greyed out

gave this a test and it works fine for me (disabled adventure awaits pack). It sounds like the game recognizes a non-existing cooking surface. Did you try a clean folder ?

 I assume all campfire do this for all Sims ?

Hi Crin. I don't have "adventure awaits pack" and yes, added a new folder for testing purpose. Nothing above the campfire, does not work for me. I assume that the latest patch added this "obove roast" for all campfires to get ready to work with the pack. But as I said, I don't have it. Yes, the game recognizes a non-existing cooking surface which shouldn't be like that.

For me it worked with the pack disabled but I guess that might not exactly the same as not having the pack but it's def the same message as if you had the pack and added the cooking surface.

Maybe someone else could test too.

I'll test with your pack combination though.

Tested 4 of a kind again and the only one that works is the one that came with the Horse Ranch pack in Picture #2.

crinrict​ - Good NEWS! - Problem solved with the latest patch.

After I patched the game to the recent October game patch which arrived for me today, I tested all the campfires again in a brand new game, and now all 4 seem to work again as they should for people who do NOT have the AA pack.
Maybe they noticed the issue before me and fixed it before I even mentioned it here.

So, everyone who upvoted here should update their game to the latest patch and test them again (I assume you guys did test them before upvoting here).
