Campfire interactions greyed out

When my sim light the campfire he can neither grill nor add a piece of wood nor put the fire out. Sim can only sing a song, play guitar or play. It says something like this "can't be used as slong as the cooking area isn't free" I play in German and this is what it says in German - picture

I have tried several versions without anything around it and still all are not useable anymore after the latest patch. Also tested with Mods/CC removed but the same issue. Repairing the game does not help. It worked all fine before the latest patch.

I'm on PC Win 11: Packs installed: Game Version: 1.118.242.1030

    gave this a test and it works fine for me (disabled adventure awaits pack). It sounds like the game recognizes a non-existing cooking surface. Did you try a clean folder ?

     I assume all campfire do this for all Sims ? 

    Disabled AA

    Enabled AA (thanks to EA for the early access)

    Hi Crin. I don't have "adventure awaits pack" and yes, added a new folder for testing purpose. Nothing above the campfire, does not work for me. I assume that the latest patch added this "obove roast" for all campfires to get ready to work with the pack. But as I said, I don't have it. Yes, the game recognizes a non-existing cooking surface which shouldn't be like that.

    For me it worked with the pack disabled but I guess that might not exactly the same as not having the pack but it's def the same message as if you had the pack and added the cooking surface.

    Maybe someone else could test too.

    I'll test with your pack combination though.
