Pools are not being recognized underground and can’t have any water styles applied to them but pool trims work?

I recently had the same problem.
I got it to finally work by going to the second basement level and finding the small line on the pool edge where the water style actually applied (sorry, it's kinda hard to describe and I had to fiddle a while until it worked).
It didn't work for basements or generally ?
crinrict The problem was only with a basement pool, I never experienced this issue with any other pool.
