Cannot Load Into Lots after Aug 19 Update

I can't play my family or any other family in my save, I can select load or resume and it takes me to the world map. After I select a household to play, it jumps out to the web browser to an exception report. I fix that issue but it will load right back to the world map after selecting a household again. I already repaired my game, through EA app as well. What makes this so bad for me is I just started playing again after a month or so due to issues before, had no problems last night playing after the older update. Got back on today and everything went to hell! This will be my last time EVER UPDATING! As the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
