Cannot Load Into Lots after Aug 19 Update

cxptr6h5g43m​  Did you previously have mods and removed them, or did you never have them?  Did you repair AND test a new save in a clean folder?  I just want to make sure.  Do you see an error when you're booted back to the world select screen?  And in a new save, have you tried loading a lot in one of the base game worlds?

SafireStargazer​  If you can load normal lots but not rental lots, in a clean user folder with nothing added back (and nothing from the Gallery either), it's worth making a new bug report just for that.  If you get an error message, please include a screenshot of it.

For everyone else in this thread, please remove your Mods folder and repair the game.  You don't need to save your progress, but since this error is mostly mod-related, it's critical that we sort the users who have this issue with no mods or cc from the rest.  If that doesn't help, follow the instructions in Crinrict's edit of the first post of this thread.

Same here after the recent update.  I can select play, but it will load right back to the world map. This is so annoying!!!

puzzlezaddict​ Hi! I have renamed the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old as per the instructions, however, I have run into an issue with the next step, where the option to repair my game simply does not show up? 

I had to download the update (Aug 19) in order to access my game… (I saw people saying they play offline but I’m not sure how to do that)

it loads to get into the game but once I click on any of my lots it immediately kicks me out after a 15-20secs on loading screen. It won’t load any of my lots/households so the game is unplayable. Please fix EA!!!!

CharaEatsDirt​  If you've installed through the EA App, open the App library and click Sims 4 > Manage > Repair.  If you've installed through Steam, open the Steam library, right-click Sims 4, and select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of the game files.

I can load to my family but it „kicks me out“ i  get the loading screeen and then im again in the world screen. (Where u can click at the worlds“) 

The game has been available even before 2014. 

Absolutely. Did you see that after they destroyed 50% of peoples games they turned around and started selling new stuff? :D even EA could'nt help me do anything but restore my base game. None of my packs load in. Pick and chose your pack is right. EA said they way you do it is to go in and un-install the content you don't want after you disable the auto download. and then re-install the content you do want and up it works. 47k hours of playing and this is the most horrible thing I've seen maxis do to it's players.

They tried to use the EA play plug in for the bought content. so if you are an EA play pass person your good to go.

They'll fix it in a month or so after they realise they started losing thier base.
