Tested with and without mods. still happens but simply I want to clear a lot of a build I had started and am scrapping. no sims live on this lot but I click bulldoze and it for a moment pops up sayin...

Hi Haunted-Honey297 to be sure, you're doing this by going to build mode from the map and not with a Sim visiting another lot ?
I am doing this though build mode from the map (with no sims at all in the save. so not visiting in any way)
Haunted-Honey297 Did you test this on a new save too ? I take it it happens to any lot type ?
sorry for late reply yes tested with other lot types and saves (fresh new save but also an older save file)
and it happens everywhere ?
If so, please try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
