I purchased a few kits from the Marketplace, and multiple items are not functional. They appear in build/buy and are able to be placed, but are not usable in live mode. Specifically, having issues with the TV from the Party Kit and the desk chair from Comfy Gamer.
I'm having this same problem :(. I just spent a lot of money on kits and some of just doesn't work. I put the frame TVs from a few of the kits in my sims house and none of them function or are interactable and it doesn't even let me click on the item. I have not found a solution yet either. 🙄
