CAS is mixing up clothing items through out every outfit

CAS will put a helmet on my sims other athletic outfit. Sim will "change" into sleep wear and wear athletic outfit to bed. I have tried deleting all outfits, deleting cache, deleting lastexceptions, ran several repairs. I use no mods, and at this point I'm so mad that I don't want to play anymore. I can't even do the the retreat because my sim looks like an idiot.
