  • yesss thank you for this. I had three bushes on lot to try and finish the feather collection quickly. i had to almost immediately delete them because my dogs were constantly going in it and getting rodent bite fever. there was a giant 12x12 block radius of feather piles around each bush.

  • It's impossible to have the bush and a pet (be it a dog or a cat) in the same lot. Animals go there constantly, and they get sick as a result, it's really unbearable.

  • I have one cat and one dog in my sim's household both with the hunter/prowler trait because I'm trying to complete collections and I've noticed they get sprayed by skunks and bitten by squirrels seemingly excessively. between the two of them, and the two pop ups, they got either sprayed or bitten 8 times in the same in-game day. Unfortunately, its not just a bug with the pop up because at first I was trying desperately to give the dog a bath each time only for it to go outside and immediately be sprayed without fail. I have spent so many simoleons on vet treats, its wild.

What makes the bug particularly painful is that if you try to ignore it, it makes the pets miserable and they eventually run away. It reminds me why I rarely play with pets in my household. If this is more than just a me issue, it could definitely use some tuning.

My pets behave the same way. I was not sure if that was the expected behavior, but it makes it does make it hard to have a interactable bush on the lot as the dog is constantly fighting squirrels and retrieving feathers and balls from the bush. It results in many many vet visits.
