[CD] Vet: Examination/Spaying gets stuck (visiting)

I’m having a problem with The Sims 4 (Cats & Dogs expansion).

My Sim went to the vet clinic to neuter their cat, but the surgery never finishes!!!! WE ARE STUCK inthe vet! and the progress bar is frozen. I tried using “resetSim” on everyone, but it didn’t work.

Now I can’t travel, save, or go back to the world because the game keeps saying “You can’t travel because there’s a social event going on.”

I don’t have any mods. How can I end the stuck vet event or get my Sim back home?

I have had to delete my world because the spaying event wont get over

Twice now I have visited the default Vet Clinic lot in Brindleton Bay (I have made no changes to this lot), and I have signed in to have my pet cat treated for illness, and been stuck waiting for an available vet for up to 6 in-game hours. The vets aren't treating other patients, they're just idly outside the venue autonomously doing other interactions. I have to debug reset them and cancel my sign-in in order to progress to the next stage.

Same sort of issue here as well.

Took my cat to vet clinic that came with Brindleton Bay, not modified in any way. Signed in pet for spaying, event moved to exam in progress, cat on exam table with vet in attendance,  event never progressed further. I waited two full Sim days.
I did try to reset everything, reloaded the game, entered build mode. Just stuck.

Tried with both MCCC and UI cheats installed and then no mods installed. Playing on PC Windows 11.
