This happened to me yesterday. Actually, for several days beforehand I kept getting the message that my 2 child sims were going to be taken away due to neglect and their grades being too low (both are A students). Then last night I had them at the doctor getting checked out for stuffy heads, and while waiting for the results, the message that the male sim has died popped up, and then seconds later the same message popped up for the little girl. Right after that the message popped up for both of them that they had been taken away due to neglect. I do have several mods, which are all up to date, but it doesn’t seem to matter if you have mods or not apparently.
This has been going on for 9 months and it hasn’t been resolved YET?! This is ridiculous.
