IDK if this has been suggested, will help anybody, or is even allowed, but this is still happening and was making my game unplayable. I downloaded Top Rapidity's Don't Take Away My Child mod on MTS. It completely disables the Social worker call and I was able to resume my legacy. I figure this is a good a fix as any until EA gets around to fixing the issue.
I actually used this but it didnt do anything for me. It just let my Sim plop into oblivion.
I even tried finding the Sim in the Manage World Overview but the Sim was simply lost.
Its still happening and I get Pop-Ups every Morning that someone was adopted by another family(without someone dying in said family, which normaly causes adoption). It also happens to Pets of any kind.
Its so annoying.Hi, does this mod still work? Since the last update was a while ago. I started experiencing this, and no matter what I do, the kid gets a death notification, and I've been spending so much time on my legacy, I'm almost on the edge of crying 😞 so tired of this game acting like that and nobody doing anything to fix their bugs. Now we're losing hours of legacies and there's nothing we can do. So I'm looking for a mod to prevent my kids from being taken away and avoid this mess.
Edit: I downloaded it and for me it seems to be working, I was keeping an eye of the time where the first two times I've gotten the notification and nothing happened, I was able to play with the whole family with no further issues. For now, I guess this is the only fix no matter if the mod is a bit outdated, but it's not a script, so it's not that bad and if it fixes what the game can't, so be it!Just to let everyone know this mod still works to fix this issue. I visit this every so often to see if anyone has found a work around or this issues is being further investigated and must have skipped over this with all the comments that have been posted. I waited to after the time the child would be taken away and nothing happen. So, the social services system is defiantly the problem. I hope the team adds this bug to the next 2-3 major updates they are planning on doing because this post still gets me toos, votes and comments almost daily, so more and more people are having this problem modded or not.
