IDK if this has been suggested, will help anybody, or is even allowed, but this is still happening and was making my game unplayable. I downloaded Top Rapidity's Don't Take Away My Child mod on MTS. It completely disables the Social worker call and I was able to resume my legacy. I figure this is a good a fix as any until EA gets around to fixing the issue.
Just to let everyone know this mod still works to fix this issue. I visit this every so often to see if anyone has found a work around or this issues is being further investigated and must have skipped over this with all the comments that have been posted. I waited to after the time the child would be taken away and nothing happen. So, the social services system is defiantly the problem. I hope the team adds this bug to the next 2-3 major updates they are planning on doing because this post still gets me toos, votes and comments almost daily, so more and more people are having this problem modded or not.
