About two months ago, I encountered this bug in The sims 4 that has completely discouraged me from playing the game since.I had a child Sim who was born in-game (not created in CAS). He was a straight-A student, had maxed skills, and maintained a very good relationship with his parents. He was about to age up into a teenager when, he suddenly disappeared entirely from the world and 'passed away'.
The Sim was not placed in any other household and there were no traces of him anywhere in the game. The only place he still existed was in the family tree, but his physical Sim was completely gone.
I reloaded the household from my Gallery and I disabled all custom content and mods, tested again, and continued playing. However, as the child once again was about to age up to teenager, the exact same thing happened. He was taken away and permanently removed from the world, despite still meeting all requirements for proper care.
This has seriously ruined my experience with The sims . Losing a Sim that was raised entirely through gameplay twice without warning or explanation is extremely frustrating and discouraging. I hope this issue can be acknowledged and resolved, as it completely undermines legacy gameplay.
