Symptom
When trying to load a world with a penthouse such as San Myshuno, or Ciudad Endamorada all I get is a white screen...
Ideas
Console player so no mods. Can't play the game since the last update it just stays on the loading screen with the game tips cycling through over and over no matter how long I leave it the game doesn't load.
When exactly is this happening ? When you try to load the game to the main menu or load a save ?
Please read through this if it's certain saves: Endless Loading | EA Forums - 5037259 and try to figure out if it's the Sim or the house causing the issue or if it's just the entire save game.
Sometimes I can't make it as far as a family, I get stuck as soon as i try to launch, when I've previously made it passed that, it always takes me to the last sim family I played with, and if I click load game, the save option I have is the same game, the last family that I used. The family will launch, I can play with them, and I can build on their lot, but if I click to go to manage world, I get stuck in the spinning plumbo load screen. And as i mentioned, ccasionally, when I try to load the game, I cant even get as far as the loading the family, I get stuck in the screen before I get to them.
I've done the things in that list that im able to do but nothing makes a difference.
Can you narrow it down to a family or a lot ? Like is it the Sims causing issues or the lot itself ?
Hi, no I wasnt able to because I could only access one family on one lot, so I couldn't test if it would happen with other families or different lots. It must have been one or the other though, rather than the game, because I fixed it - the family and lot were in the city so I deleted the city living expansion pack, then when I tried to start the game it couldn't force me to only load that family or lot anymore, since the content wasn't there, instead it took me to the manage worlds part and I was able to pick another family and then reinstall the city living pack later on and its working now, hopefully it carries on working!
