Symptom
When trying to load a world with a penthouse such as San Myshuno, or Ciudad Endamorada all I get is a white screen...
Ideas
I updated my game today, and now I can't load into the map.
I can load into the current household, but I have to stay at that lot and not travel otherwise I end up on an endless loading screen. I don't play with mods. I've cleared the caches. I tried repairing the game w/ no luck. At one point, I let my computer sit for 15 minutes before giving up... usually it loads pretty quickly. My computer is up to date. The game worked fine a couple days before. .. i really don't know what to try at this point.
The game is basically unplayable at this point.
Help!
Which world are you playing in ? Does it work if you start a new save for testing ?
Do you have any LastException/LastUIException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.I was playing in Taratosa. I just tried a new save and that seemed to work. I'm not sure if it made a difference but I had the new save start in Forgotten Hollow.

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.
This is the same error the penthouse/R-rental issue throws. Given that Taratosa doesn't have any penthouses, that indicates something else is going on too.
Did you build any residential rentals in Taratosa ?
This is also happening to me but I play with mods and it was fine 2 days ago and now it won't let me travel either
