After the latest patch both San Myshuno and Ciudad Enamorada don't load when i try and visit those worlds in manage worlds. The game doesn't crash but it leaves me on a blank screen. I can still access the options menu and quit the game. I've checked and its just those two worlds, all other worlds, including vacation worlds, load fine. Removed all my mods and checked again and they still don't load. I'm speculating that it's because they are the only 2 worlds with penthouse lots?
Thank you so much janyses, I was looking all over for fixes for this. I removed my mods folder, didn't work. I repaired the game, didn't work. Updated my drivers, still didn't work. I even removed my Sims 4 Folder from the Electronics Arts Folder, thinking maybe it was a corrupted file, and restarted my game with a clean Sims 4 Folder, it worked...until I put my tray files back in, and I got the white screen again. Hours of troubleshooting.
Then I followed your instructions and now have access to Cuidad from the World Menu. It was the residential rental on the penthouse lot. I was lucky as I had a playable sim as the landlord and was able to visit one of the units, sell the rental and change it to a residential lot. However, I did note that I had to leave the lot after changing it to residential and make sure there were no sims left on the lot.
It had nothing to do with mods. It is clearly an EA glitch. I even tested it by putting the residential rental back on the penthouse lot with no playable sim owning it, and no tenants...and I got the white screen again.
It is terribly unfortunate as I really like the build and often played in it before the patch broke it. I had to place the residential rental in Windenburg on the 20 x 20 lot so I didn't lose my characters that were living in it. It doesn't look anywhere near as nice there.
