Been having this problem for literal years, but neat sims very rarely have the option to have a cleaning frenzy. They also leave dishes around often, meanwhile slob sims often do clean up after themselves. Both have been like this almost as long as the game has been out. Its always been an issue with/without mods installed.

- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
My post says that this has been an issue for multiple years, regardless of mod use. But no, I don't have them installed currently, and it's still a problem.

Neat sims do still get that option for a frenzy but it takes a lot of you clicking on things and making them clean to get it to appear. I've never had them get themselves into that state on their own though 🤔

My experience with this is that "Cleaning Frenzy" will show up, but they'll only do the butler actions of wiping down desks, etc. but not actually cleaning up the stuff that needs cleaning. Meanwhile, the slob in the house cleans autonomously as well as cleaning when I click on the "fun" need. I've also been having this issue for years, but I'm currently playing with Bob & Eliza Pancakes. Bob shouldn't be doing (and enjoying) the cleaning while Eliza repeatedly polishes the desk.
