Same here, rotational player on Xbox, so no mods.
On a brand new save, started a couple of weeks ago I logged into my farmer's home last night and her little goat and sheep instantly got taken away by Grim.
I always have "animal aging off" and havent had any issues with horses, cats and dogs. It seems to only affect the little ones.
