I noticed today that it's not necessarily that they're still aging, but fully healthy animals of any age will die after not playing with the household for awhile (rotational play). A baby chick died in my game, so it made no sense.
me too. i'd only played a different household for a few in-game days before returning to find grim taking away baby chicks
