[COL] Chicken/Rabbit aged up and died with aging off (Patch 1.116.202)

The bug fix “Chickens, Cows, and Llamas no longer Age Up (and eventually die) when Animal Aging is disabled in Game Settings. Players rejoice, but Grim is sad.” is NOT resolved. I played in a brand new save file with aging turned off and my chicken still aged up and died.

**Note: I play on PC

This was for patch: 1.116.202.1030

Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title, adjusted title

    -  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    -  Is it just the chicken or other animals too ?

No mods, used a brand new save file after the update and repaired my game after the update. I haven't noticed this with other animals yet (still a new save file) and I don't have any other small farm animals besides sheep, but the sheep don't seem to be aging. The only other issue I'm having with animals is related to my cat being sick multiple days in a row even after paying for the “expensive treatment” at the vet, which I also reported.

Unfortunately I have to re-report this old bug. Several of my bunnies died this morning. Animal aging has never been turned on in any of my saves.

This bug was listed as fixed in a recent patch (https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/col-all-animals-aging-updying/11853294). Unfortunately it doesn't seem very fixed from where I'm sitting with sad sims on a bunny graveyard.

I have the same problems as described in the old thread that's marked as fixed: animals die off when I return to a lot after a while being on other lots.

Closed the game without saving after all my critters died and turned off mods and cleared cache and localthumbs, and tried loading into a mod-free save, only to see the bunnies there also dying basically immediately upon loading into the lot they were on.

    Latest game version/patch.

Did not try other farm animals, because I mostly just place the bunny stump on my lots for cute bunnies hopping around my gardens and parks. Well, several of my sims are now very sad about the death of their cute garden bunnies. 🙁 I am also very sad about my cute bunnies dying; I thought this was fixed. 😭
