For me, even *with* or without mods installed it pops up. None of my mods affect the cross stitch activity/skill. The only difference is, it seems random as to what they'll cross stitch, but it's always a large hoop. If they have one in their inventory/pocket, they'll still start a new cross stitch project 😮💨
