Reposting here, in hopes that tags will not be removed in the future.

Instead of fewer/no DLC tags, I would prefer tag-buttons instead for all DLC/Events.

I would like to suggest adding The Sims 4 DLC/Event tag buttons to the bottom of all reports & forms. There are already existing tag buttons for PC/Xbox/PS, UI, Gameplay, Error Code, etc... so adding a separate section for The Sims 4 DLC/Event tags would remove a lot of the daily hassle for everyone. Saves fans from having to learn the new pack tags, saves Crinrict's fingers/brain from turning to mush 💚

Also, maybe consider developing a Python program to help with the workload on the Sims 4 Bug and Feedback Forums. There's an astronomical amount of work here for Crinrict to have to manually do voluntarily (without pay). Plus, "...statuses here aren't always up-to-date...", so they don't provide an accurate representation of the team's efforts to The Sims 4 community and fans. This is not good optics 💔

Forums need to be up-to-date and must be an accurate representation of the team's efforts.

Maybe a Python program (or AI) could help the forums function more efficiently; help the team get caught up on bugs sooner, waste fewer resources, and volunteers/employees could focus on more important matters.

I didn't get around do to adding any AA on the list yet but hopefully I can this weekend. For now it would just go to an empty page :D

As for your feedback on the page itself, it's best if you put that in the forum feedback forum :D

I do so appreciate what you do, in so many ways. 

Could you please create add Adventure Awaits to the Main Index on your Read First Compiled list of Reported Issues so I can better see what's what?   I always go there first.

I truly find myself getting lost in there!  🤣  No offense to anyone is intended.  I can see why programmers would want to separate issues this way.  I get it.  But that page seems to be more for statistical use for the sims 4 player.  I would never try to use that page to find a similar bug but I think many do, mostly just to report something because that is where the Bug search results takes them 1st.  It doesn't take them to the Main Index on your read first page.    Then you volunteer so much of your time and effort fixing titles... moving things around into the correct categories... I do not envy what your doing, but I do wholeheartedly appreciate it.  

Completely understandable. For organizer freaks, it is great, but I could imagine for those not (and the mistakes made), the corrections needed to keep it relevant could be more work than wanted.

Oh, that is a shame X / I hope you have forwarded more ideal reporting too.

Actually, I got selected for one of those hour interviews for the EA forums rep today. I will see if I can forward a few concerns/ideas that way (edit: I did mention this). Otherwise, I'll make a post outlining the  idea.

unfortunately with 100+ it just not feasible to have thread tags for every single pack. A lot of people already just choose all the tags/a random one as they don't know what to use.

I personally would do the whole bug reporting things so much differently but it is what it is :(

I think you should put the multi tag search idea in the forum feedback forum (if you haven't) :D

I hope this doesn't come across as counterproductive, but as a volunteer, and all the work you do here, I'd definitely want to support what you feel is a more efficient, and/or easier way to manage your workload.

But I do find importance in "by pack" organization. Index seems like a good compromise, but it is a shame we cannot tag by pack, and search by tags or multi-tag search/filter. And if they change up the forums, tag filters could be removed or end up a changed, and not grandfather in previous assignments.

thanks for your feedback. The list is for you guys so I do want to check what works best for you.

Some things being very back specific is the reason why I did by pack in the first place. As time has gone on, many things are now multiple packs (like hot tub used to be pack specific, now it's not or other objects that have been added to many packs.

I'm curious if you just mean certain features like or also you search for aspirations by pack. Currently have have those both with the pack and also separate which also prolongs the list unnessarily.

With what I have in mind there would be for example sections for: R-Rentals, Lifestyles, Milestones, Apartments (that is already not limited to one pack anymore), Small Business, etc.

But maybe this could be done in conjunctions with packs. Like features that are from one defined pack, there could be one page with an pack index and then the features, like

[GRO] 

• Milestones
• Midlife Crisis
• ...

[LD] 

• Soul's Journey/Bucket List

etc

I feel a lot of the features are just flavors of something we have. Like festivals are now in almost every pack so there wouldn't probably too many per pack that are unique. I absolutely thing the pack is still important but maybe more as a secondary sorting instead of primary. Like switch the order of them. Current, pack is the main sort and category is second so with the new system, categories would be first and packs would be second.

I wished there could be some cool filtering system but it's just a post.

Hi Crinrict, first of all, thank you for everything that you do. 

While I understand that having bugs sorted by pack might be a lot to scroll through as we are getting close to a 100 DLC I personally feel that it's still the best way to find a specific bug as many bugs are very pack specific.

But you are of course free to do what you think is best.

Fortunately that I'm in the comfortable situation to not have to have a full time job (at least not anymore) so that helps with things. 

The top 25 is a tricky thing but I guess it could be done if most votes on the top level would only pick up from some statuses and not all.
