[CONSOLE] Unable to rotate roofs & stairs

This is happening to me too for Xbox. I can’t rotate copied stairs, roofs, or rooms, and can’t rotate house/lot. I love building and this makes it quite frustrating and not nearly as enjoyable. 

Same. I'm on PS5 and can't rotate copied stairs or roofs. I started building a hobbit style home last week and didn't have this problem. I go on today to continue my build and now it won't work correctly. This style of build isn't straight roofs. It's a struggle trying to match both sides without being able to copy. Guess I'm done playing.... again

this has been happening for the entire year and its very frustrating that console gets ignored for a long time when we pay the exact same as the people on pc :/

I can not rotate lots or houses, the Lb says previous and the Rb says Next, even once the move button is clicked it still says the same.  I did make another post about this, but someone told me about the post here altho I fear is not gonnar be fixed soon as this post is already 6 months gone.

It’s really a shame that the sims team can’t fix these issues in a timely manner or at the very least address them and let the community know they’re being acknowledged and a fix is coming. This issue from my research has been going on for at least the past year for some with no news of a patch. Not only can you not rotate copied roofs or stairs, the undo button also continues to bring up the search menu. Trying to build on console is already a struggle, but now I have to literally fight the controls to do simple tasks that makes building almost impossible. 

This is a thing for me currently, and when i view controls while holding roofs or a room it says my shoulder L and R buttons go to next build tool instead of rotate.

Encountering this now with build items — stairs, roofs, rooms.

Window, doors, floor are rotating fine. HELPPPP.
