[CONSOLE] Unable to rotate roofs & stairs

I'm now finding that this is sometimes working on Xbox Series X (with all content). If I go out of the game and back in again it's as it should be for a while. But I have other controls that are also only working sporadically and wonder if it's part of a wider issue maybe. (B button to let go of items only working occasionally, clicking right side stick to centre on current Sim, switching CAS categories all affected). 

everytime i try to copy a roof or room or stairs it wont let me rotate them it just goes to the next building option at the top. 

Hi all, as above, since the last update I can now no longer rotate any build objects like roofs, build rooms and so on. It just flies through other options and doesn't allow me to rotate using R1/L1 and just switches to the tool bar along the top. It's frustrating and has made build mode less enjoyable and easy to use. If I want to make a corresponding room or bit of roof the same height and shape I can only copy but not rotate.

Exactly the same here!  Can copy but can't rotate my roofs have to go into build mode and make a new roof, especially annoying as you can copy and paste roof patterns but you can't copy the roof trim as the eye dropper doesn't and never has worked on them. Incredibly tedious! 😔

Happened to me aswell. Very aggravating!

Building is my favourite bit. I hope they sort it out 🙏

Having the same issue. As build mode is integral to game play it makes the game fairly unplayable to not be able to rotate any objects. 

Than you for posting the bug report for this issue 😃 definitely going to add to it, this bug is super annoying. I still keep automatically pressing R1 & L1 to rotate even though I know it doesn't work and then roll my eyes at myself. Its really hard to forget the muscle memory on this one 😂

Can't rotate copied roofs on PS4, noticed this after the most recent update July 10th. R1 & L1 no longer rotates the roof just drops it and flips to another tool like the eyedropper or move lot etc depending on which direction you try to rotate. I tried to get video proof of it happening but very difficult to hold a phone up to the TV to record and then getting the controller in shot to show what buttons I'm pressing 😣 

Also in all this why oh why can't we copy the roof trims??? Everything else for roofs can be copy and pasted but not those!
