EA_Solaireadvised to post my same issue here. Which won't necessarily be the same fix for me because I play on console. This forum is for PC players. Issues affecting Console players should be tracked separately to insure the fix is compatible. This is the reason that console players games are the last for fixes to work. I play on console so the fixes that the work on a PC will not be the same for those that play on console. Where mods and cc may be an issue there is no chance of that on a console because we unfortunately do not have access to mods. I cannot save any sized lot. I also tries re-building the data base and updating the licensing and nothing has helped. Pretty sure it started after the burglar was introduced but I am sure there were other patch "fixes" in it as well. Error I receive is "Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later."

Every time I try to save a lot to my library it gives me an error that the gallery isn't working. Now, every time I try to place a lot the game can't place it and gives me the game had trouble saving error. I took out my tray file and tried to place something from the gallery and the problem persisted. What do I have to do to play this game that I've pumped so much money in?

The burgular update that prevents saving lots to the gallery makes the game unplayable in my opinion because 90% of my time with TS4 is currently building the worlds. Adding to the problem, my sim left his house and couldn't return bc it wouldn't load. Typically I buy all content but sadly I won't buy the new EP or kits until EA fixes this. I won't be playing the game either bc unless the game is working perfectly it's not fun.

No offense to you but I don't know what dxdiag is or how to take and submit a video of the error which says "Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later." Why can't EA just say Opps, our burglar update created some significant problems for people who paid good money to have a fun game, and then just fix it instead of giving busy work to the customer base that can't possibly correct an error in the code ?

I am on Xbox One, but my thread regarding this got closed with the message to use this thread.
I actually thought I had this resolved, but unfortunately today I got that "server error" message again when trying to save a build to my library (not the gallery, I was offline), I tried again and it did save. So, idk what is causing this or why, it is weird.

It appears this is not a pc specific issue.TheSimsDirect I am a mac user, and u can see in this thread there are console players with this issue as well. As I mentioned before, it’s not internet connection or simply gallery issue also, as saving to my private library shows the same error. The update broke something and it should be fixed as soon as possible.

I am also a Mac user with this problem and completly agree this is not a user problem and EA needs to address it right away without gaslighting by giving users busy work to "fix" it. Not one thing wrong with my computer and no CC/mods.

It’s still happening for me after the game day patch. I even tried cleaning out my library (and fixes above) and still can’t save.
After some more testing, I tried a save I hadn’t played since before the burglar update. I was able to save an empty base game lot when I first loaded in. After building in the save in Ravenwood and saving, I was unable to save an empty base game lot when I loaded back in.Gallery ID and EA username is same as mine here: CottagecoreSimss

This is marked as solved, but I am still having this issue. I have tried lots vs individual rooms, and get the same result. I haven’t been able to save any builds for the past 3 days and it’s so frustrating because I was trying to back them up before creating a fresh save…
I’m playing on console so no mods.

I can save my builds again. It’s fixed. I still do have some problems with the game crashing when in build mode. I found out it happens everytime after I tried to move the pool so I just sold the pool and build a new one in a diffrent spot, no problems with that. I can play again, but I would still like a fix that prevents the game from crashing after moving a pool
