Maybe it's just my game. I play on Mac without mods, only expansion packs. I've been dealing with this problem since I started playing Sims 4 around 2024. If I download a sim from the gallery doesn’t matter if it's an old sim or a new sim that was just uploaded; my game will automatically unlock all of the hidden CAS items. Please fix this bug!!!!

I thought this was on purpose, some sims are like this as a cheat. I've downloaded a sim from the gallery specifically to unlock those items. You can find an explanation for it on Youtube or other social media. Please do NOT remove this option from the Gallery! How else am I going to get my sims to wear the fast food uniform at my next Halloween party?

I'm not sure what you are reporting. This dress is a base game dress that's not hidden. Do you mean that if you download a Sim that has something unlocked, it gets unlocked for you ?
Do you have examples of Sims you downloaded and what was unlocked ?
