sitDining_EP08RWlaw from Discover University has some strange shininess going on. When looking at the image files one can see that it is actually using a specular map of a completely different chair, hence the visual oddities.

Ah, good, they may have added language changing at some point because I do think at least earlier it wasn't possible (when EA App was brand new).
Unfortunately Sims4Studio only loads the string files for the language my game is in and based on earlier experiences switching languages causes things to get a little messy.
But it's fine, I can just ask people on Discord for the English names in the future! :P
It's about search. Users won't search for internal names :D
It should be possible to get the full name through S4Studio though, right ? And you can change language in EA app but I really don't expect you to do that.
My game is not in English and changing the language is no longer possible through the EA App, but I can try getting the names by other ways then. I also thought having the internal name of an object was good enough.
DestroyerSims Could you please put the actual name of the object in the title going forward so I don't have have to look up all the items you report in the game ?
- For CAS items: Put the internal name if you know how to look it up
- For Buy/Build: Put the name it has in buy/build mode.
