The main problem with ailments is that they are contagious. If you play one sim and cure every ailments immediately (once a day or every second day) you are fine. As soon as it's spreading through contamination it's out of control. I also don't want every sim from now on to constantly have to do apothecary to keep on top of ailments. A separate on/off toggle is needed.
