[EBN] Naturopaths not being promoted when working from home

My naturopath sim, who has consistently chosen to work from home and completed all work from home tasks, has not been promoted from level 1 of the career despite a full performance bar. In another, modded save, my naturopath sim got promoted to level 2 while working from home, but not at the start of the work day. This is inconsistent with other work from home careers.

Edit: She was promoted at 5pm while working from home with all work from tasks complete. This is inconsistent with other work from home careers, where promotion is either at end of work if one has gone to work, or at start of work if work from home has been chosen.

  • no matter what I do, my sim is not getting promoted to the top of the naturopath career. Every time she completes a work day at the "excellent" level, she goes back down to "average" before the next work day and can't progress as in other careers.

  • I'm having an issue where my Sim cannot get promoted to rank 10, whether she's working from home or going to work.  Instead of a promotion, she gets a raise.  Currently at Lifestyle Coach (9) and Certified Lifestyle Coach +14.  I've used cheats and mods, but still no rank 10, only additional raises even with all promotion and daily tasks completed.

Are you also just getting the raises and not the promotion?

  • I have a similar problem on PC.  At level 4, I started not being able to work or get a promotion.  I used a cheat to level up to level 5.  The cheat got me to level 5 but didn't fix the problem.  My work days come and go without any notice. I restarted my game, deleted mods, tried other households.  Nothing works.  I also have a few book related bugs (not being able to drag and drop books or buy books from a bookshelf.  The used bookstore in Innisgreen works.)

I'm playing the console version on PlayStation 5, and I'm having the same problem, encountering an issue with the Elixir Enthusiast aspiration. One of the final requirements, "Reach Level 10 of the Naturopath Career," just hasn't been working correctly.

My Sim had already reached level ten of the Naturopath career as a Certified Lifestyle Coach. Yet for some reason the aspiration only registered the Sim as being at level nine.

The Sim's daily performance at work was always high, they get a bonus almost every workday, and I tried having them go to work, work from home, and see clients at the sim's home, but nothing worked. I tried switching to a different aspiration and then switching back to Elixir Enthusiast again, but that too didn't work. But whatever I did, the aspiration still remained as if the Sim was at level nine even though they were at level ten.

Finally, I tried quitting the career and then taking it up again. This time the Sim began at level 9 as a Balance Coordinator. But again, no promotion would occur no matter how good the Sim's performance was at work. Each workday they would just get a raise but no promotion. Oddly enough, sometimes NPC friends would call to congratulate the Sim on getting a promotion even though that never happened.

And just out of curiosity, I tried using a cheat to promote the Sim to level ten to see what would happen. Doing so did make the Elixir Enthusiast aspiration complete; however, the requirement "Reach Level 10 of the Naturopath Career" was still at 9/10 and left unchecked and uncompleted.

    Update.
I was able to reach level ten of the Naturopath career by using the Whispering Wishing Well from Romantic Garden Stuff. With cheats enabled, I made the well ensure that it would give the best possible result for wishes. Then I had the Sim wish for a promotion. Doing so instantly made the Sim reach level ten in the Naturopath career which finally satisfied the "Reach Level 10 of the Naturopath Career" requirement of the Elixir Enthusiast aspiration, bringing it up to 10/10 and completing the aspiration.
