This is happening to me with eco lifestyle juice since the August patch. My sim gets the horribly fizzy / suspicious fizz moodlet even tho she drank excellent quality juice that was not suspicious fizz.
This has happened multiple times every time she drinks any juice. She barfs all over the place and needs all plummet.
Interestingly I gifted it to a sim who was over and he drank it almost immediately and did not have a negative reaction.
I don’t have horse ranch so can’t test nectar and haven’t tested bar drinks yet.

Ditto couldn't figure out what was going on with certain sims til I went to a bar and noticed more sims doing it that ordered any nectar drinks.

Same in my game. I dont have strangerville. Never realised how funny the walking animation is though!

Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but for people that are happy to use mods and not wanting to wait for a fix that could take still a while:
Rex created a mod to fix this: "DangerouslyFizzyFix", and it has been working well for me.

It happened to me several times tonight in the brindleton Bay lounge and I saw it happen to James Turner and his retirement home video today as well.

Just popping by to add my own input regarding this issue as well. Whenever my Sims drink a juice fizz made with five apples only, they still end up getting the Dangerously Fizzy moodlet including the PØŞŞ€ŞŞ€Đ walk (though not the Infected trait itself). Other times they may simply throw up, even though the juice is normal quality.
Am on PC and not using any mods.

So far every juice/seltzer I've tested has immediately given the suspicious fizz moodlet causing my Sims to either throw up or behave as if possessed by the Mother Plant.
Seltzer with a touch of lemon? Suspicious. Not fun. Not amusing.
Is there anything in Eco Lifestyle that isn't broken?
Haven't tested Nectar yet. We'll see how that goes.

I just saw this bug in action on one of James Turner's videos - possessed walk on multiple sims from drinking apple nectar
