I have a similar issue currently with the Civil Designer career. I completed both eco aspirations and maxed out Civic Planner but now I want to switch to Green Technician so I can grow meat walls. Quit career about two sim weeks ago and got a new one, but the careers menu doesn't have Civil Designer as an option anymore, it just has Civic Planner hiring for Utilities Assistant. I tried using demote cheat to utilities assistant, but all that did was fire them. The only mod I've had installed this whole save is BBB but I was considering downloading UI cheats mod to fix the career thing.
Shouldn't it let me start over after some time?
