Update: yeah, now it seems like all the areas that were green by default (Magnolia Blossom Park, Desert Bloom Park, Myshuno Meadows, parts of Henford-on-Bagley) have all dropped down to neutral for no apparent reason, and no amount of landscaping/changing wallpapers/etc. seems to be nearly enough to tip the scale back.
