Event tasks not showing up [PS4]

When an event is started (such as birthday party, dinner party, etc) the screen left info box does not show the tasks needed to complete to get bronze through gold in the event. Due to the lack of direction, all the events are bronze. Even if you do the usual tasks that would progress you in the event you still get bronze due to the checklist not working. This seemed to pop up after the Blast from the Past event. 

The screen left event tap is stuck in new simmer tutorials (travel , use your rewards points) when not playing in events.
