Well, of course now it doesn't happen. I did get that problem with LD where I would have to go to a lot, close fissures and and collect souls, but I think I may have solved it by afterwards collecting souls elsewhere (plants in the park after the second day of work was over).
I couldn't go to Spicy Festival yet. I'll have to play for a bit longer as it's more than an in-game week for the next Spice event. I haven't gotten the problem of hanging upon saving for the moment.
