I am experiencing the same issue during San Myshuno festivals. I get "Exception in Sim Timeline: Exception running Element (AttributeError: 'JoinSituationElement' object has no attribute 'situation_type')" even with no mods, no CC, a cleared localthumbcache.package, and a brand new save. The error only happens during festival situations, not necessarily when returning home. This appears to be a core game bug, not related to custom content. Please add me to the affected players.
