Or maybe it could be something like the Chopstick Savvy trait from City Living: if you make your Sim use the social apps on the phone too much (like… 5+ times/hour, on three separate days), the Sim could get Phone Addict trait (not unlike the celebrity quirk, but without the moodlets, just the animations).
