it really ruins a lot of gameplay. When my sims are on a date or at home flirting and then someone starts tapping on their phone, or rushes off to dance. And I'm thinking really dude? You're gonna text your dad or choose dancing over woohoo? Or brothers and sisters visiting and talking. Whatever the case they can't stop with their phones :(
I'm guessing the reason they introduced this interaction as to make player feel more relatable to real life but take a good look at the werewolf pictures. As a werewolf, both feet and hands should be on ground while running but they don't bother to recode the occults interactions that installed for the normal sims, I don't have EBN but I'm guessing the fairies behaved the same way too with phone, just imagine, if they're going to make a medieval world with dragons and all the good stuffs and sims still tap on phone for no good reasons and cars on the road, it's gonna breaks all immersion.
I only want so much real life in my game though. It is my huge gripe in life that people want to talk while they are staring at their phones and I tell them about it too. I don't let my granddaughters have any electronics while visiting me unless I allow some time for it. I'd rather do puzzles, or games, dance, watch a movie or whatever and chat with them. It doesn't carry over when they go home but when they're in my world, things are my way. And honestly they don't gripe about it because we engage and have fun together. I want the same for my sims lol.
I see now what you mean about the werewolf. And you're right, that is extremely important. I only recently started dabbling with then so I guess I hadn't noticed it yet. I do have two fairies and it all looks normal for them. They don't really have a transformation other than they have wings or they don't. Other than that just like a regular person. You should try and find an existing report for the werewolf animations/graphics and if you can't then create one. Werewolves deserve love too :)
