Excessive Shopping Cart Popups

I simply refuse to have the shopping cart in my game.

When you added it, EA, it was intrusive as it's been said above, but I also find it insulting. EA does not respect its customer base, it is a fact.

As it has also been said before, we already get the obnoxious full page ads on the home page just by starting the game. One has to click out of any and all ads that appear there. And then, you don't care, EA, and you still try to push me during my supposedly RELAXING playing time to buy your stuff? The stuff that, at the time, has broken the game so much that many can't even play it?

I use a mod that gets rid of the shopping cart for me. This is something which I should not have to do, though. Because EA, by now, 11 years after launching TS4 and over 25 years owning The Sims franchise, you should understand that your customers pay to play the game you offer, OUR OWN WAYS. Give us the options to select to see your intended marketing schemes, or not. This should also apply to when you introduce new game features; by now, EA, you should offer a solid, functional, bug free, and constantly improved game and let us do with it as we PAID to please us, instead of keep trying to "...ask you to change up how you play."
