Had trouble getting the couple to perform vows at the arch. It says partner wasn’t near when they are both standing by the arch. Nothing was in the way. Had to restart game now for it to work?

Got this issue with saying "partner sim is not around" while being there. Tried in group, having it in the household and whatnot, but nothing but "elope" worked. :S Have not experienced it before, I think. Oddly enough the to be spouse sim "went home" randomely when they had a nice time before - the "goodbye" turned up, but I queued another interaction to stop it from going away, and she stayed. But that made her "not around" somehow, since they couldn't take photos together because there "were no sims around" :S Maybe that's also connected to it. Last few days many sims leave lots very quickly and randomely - it seems to me.
