The very reason they make no effort to fix the bugs is because they are not struggling financially. Why bother hiring a team to fix anything when players keep buying packs even when the game is totally broken? If players actually boycotted The Sims, they would probably do something about it. You even said yourself that you prefer The Sims over Inzoi and that you would keep playing. And that is exactly the issue, they know it. They have got a monopoly, and they are just sitting on their hands. The only way they would react is if people stopped playing, but that is not likely to happen anytime soon.
People need to understand that EAs goal is to make money. They do not care about making players happy, they care about getting their money. They only act when there is widespread backlash that threatens their profits. On top of the eye bug, we now have broken presets and sliders for children that modders cannot even fix, only EA can. These are serious appearance issues that just keep piling up, and nothing is being done. That is why I have lost hope that they will ever bother to fix any of it.
Well, that is correct, I won't be switching away from TS4 to Inzoi because Inzoi just doesn't offer the same kind of experience as TS4. Also, I don't particularly like the appearance of the characters in Inzoi. However. I definitely won't be playing the game because I can't with all these bugs.
That said, they won't be getting any more money from me until they at least get these eye bug issues and the romance bug fixed. If that doesn't happen, then I have alternative plans. My 10 year Sim story will just have to change. I'm already in a different arc to the story in which I'm using a different game altogether. I transferred and created the most important Sims in it. It's a much different story plot, but it has been helping me get through the waiting process for EA to fix these bugs
However, if EA and Maxis continue down this road of just letting these bugs sit here with no real efforts to fix them in a timely manner, then the original TS4 part of my story will just have to go. Again, my story will have to change. Sure there is no dates and all the loving and cute stuff like there was in TS4, but it sure is one heck of an adventure with tons of excitement right now!
