My hope is waning on this ever getting fixed, but I do hope this commitment to bug fixing is going to be improved. I still cannot understand why they will not revert the change they made to the eyes for the eyelashes and then make their eyelashes compatible with the existing system (what they should have done in the first place). It is completely unreasonable to expect animation/pose creators to completely distort sims' faces to get them to have a normal expression in game. In addition, it leaves console players out in the cold because they cannot use mods. It has been over a year and still no progress on an issue that Khlas kindly investigated heavily, provided concrete data about, and provided a solution for 6 or more months ago. It would be nice if they would collaborate with creators on bug fixes like this instead of only looking at collaborations for kits to sell. I miss playing with my favorite sims because of this bug and I miss being able to take screenshots to share with others that do not have some distorted eye expression.
Yeah, it's rough. I really wanna continue with my Sim story. It's been over a year now. I open up the game every now and then and look the screenshots I've taken over the years just to reflect on the memories, 10 years of memories. My Sim's story is like another reality lol! It's something I did every single day and immersed myself in. Not being able to continue on because of these bugs has been saddening and feels like a a huge part of my life has been taken from me. I do have hope though that they will eventually fix it. They gotta! If they want to continue with TS4, they can't ignore the visual bugs. Also, they really need to figure out how to fix that save corruption bug. That one is the worst of the worst. Even if they get these eye bug issues fixed, it will feel like I'm walking through a possible Sims apocalypse as my saved game of 10 years might end up corrupted. That is stress and tension at the ultimate level! I would cry if that happened! LOL! I do have many backups though. I was backing up my save files every few months, and I also create new saves multiple times every time I continued with my Sim story.
