What on Earth happened a year and a half ago when they added the new eyelashes that is so "complex" and seemingly very difficult to revert? This has been my question for months and the communication is very little on what exactly is going on behind the scenes here.
Are they still trying to fix individual animations? I just don't understand, we have experienced people like Khlas in the community that have weighed in and showed clearly that this isn't an animation problem. Are they trying to do something else to fix it? We just have no idea and we are approaching the 2-year mark on these eye bugs. This is unacceptable.
They should have listened in the very beginning when these eye bug issues were introduced. If they would have fixed them then, then they wouldn't be having the problems they are having today. They added so much content now that it's like a jumanji effect when they try to fix it. They fix it somewhat, the fix breaks something else. In the end, was adding those eyelashes worth all this trouble?
They said that this is being actively investigated. This is a lesson to be learned. When you add something that is gonna effect the Sim's appearance, you really gotta make sure it doesn't break the Sim's appearance before releasing such updates.
Besides the save corruption bug, these eye bug issues are the next biggest disaster bugs in the game, They are story ending bugs. I had to move on because of these eye bugs. It's been too long without a fix.
