I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

Another update 😂causing chaos, does anyone know what mods r now causing game not to launch I’ve removed all ui and mc command but I think it’s actually cc that’s causing it not to launch not sure what ones and I have so many 😂😭x any help x
My game won't even update at all without a glitch and error. I removed my whole mods folder and that doesnt seem to trouble shoot it -_- Cant wait to see how soon they'll fix this.

this almost feels intentional atp two updates and now just complete game crashes ugh
For me its the BBB mod but others have said other script mods and some cc is causing issues, im boycotting and then ditching entirely if it isnt fixed by sims team personally
It is indeed CC, for me Caio, Arethabae, Madlen and many other creators are not working and my game won't launch at all if I have those.
tried deleting resource.cfg and went offline and it worked for me yall give it a go!

For me, all my cc works in smaller groups; my game launches and the main menu isn't blacked out. As soon as all those confirmed safe groups get added in together though, failure to launch. No clue at all on how to fix this, someone here in this thread posted that they've tested other people's mods folder and it opened for the tester but still not working for the OPs. It must be an internal file issue on EA's part or something idk
