I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

I got rid of all of my script mods after the second patch for mod issues, and my game still refuses to open. Yesterday it opened fine with the same custom content and mods i have installed today, and yet it refuses to open after restarting my laptop, repairing the game, and creating a new sims 4 folder.
I'm experiencing something similar to this, sometimes the games opens and works fine , sometimes it won't open.
I made a post about this yesterday 🙂 It takes about 15-20 minutes for me, to get the game to open.. But it does, if i try long enough. And even if i JUST had the game open, it won't launch it right after.Oh ☝️ and if you had the game open and running yesterday with cc's, it most likely created a new "localthumbcache.package" file in you'r folder. Delete it first, Everytime, before you try running the game. I've got the impression that it does something.. My game refuses to run if it's there.
You won't believe it, I was just sitting with my girlfriend and solving this problem, and a minute ago you posted a comment and I came across it and it really helped, happiness to you and thank you so much for being there!
